Energy measures

In recent years, Dominó, as an energy intensive consumer company, has shown its concern to implement a series of measures to lower its energy costs, which represent about 15% of its total costs, and to reduce its “ecological footprint”.

Following these concerns and the application of several energy efficiency measures, we installed a photovoltaic solar plant with around 3000 solar panels, with a total power of 1 MWp and the capacity to produce 1353 MWh of energy annually. This plant offers us a practical answer by reducing the energy bill and 609 tons of CO2 per year, the equivalent of planting 15.600 trees per year.
