Imagine industrial concrete reinterpreted in ceramic: the polishing circles don’t disappear, they come to life in warm tones. These circular marks are the signature of the machine, of the process; graphic elements that bring technical authenticity to a sophisticated urban aesthetic.
Incorporates a soft whitewashed, circular trowel effect, reminiscent of mechanical polishing. A warm color palette, a matte finish for a contemporary, tactile feel, all with a focus on urban sophistication.
Inspired by the timeless forms of stone and the artisanal gestures that shape matter, the ATLAS series is born at the intersection of classic and contemporary.
The Line relief offers a surface sculpted with continuous, delicate lines that create a rippling effect, evoking the movement of water over stone or the precision of handcrafted marble work. This decoration brings rhythm and fluidity to walls, working as either a feature or a harmonious extension of the base.
Around 170 million years ago, during the Late Jurassic period, the region of the Fränkische Alb in Bavaria, Germany, was covered by a shallow tropical sea. Over thousands of years, limestone and clay sediments settled on the seabed, slowly transforming into the stone we now know as Jura Kalkstein.
This dense limestone, rich in visible fossils, has been quarried throughout the region since almost Roman times, with layers ranging in color from light beige to bluish-grey.
Both bases and decorative pieces are designed to work modularly and in coordination, creating integrated ceramic panels where the transition between smooth and sculpted surfaces is seamless. The result is a surface that combines texture and neutrality, order and movement, nature and technique.
The Multi relief, presents a more graphic and contemporary approach: vertical lines alternating between the base’s soft sanded surface and areas of pronounced relief, almost as if revealing the hidden layers within the stone. This relief resembles a barcode, but organic and textured, mirroring the veins or natural elevations buried deep within the original stone.
The soul of JURA stone is captured in ceramics in two ways. First, through its geological and visual inspiration, recreating the natural layers and soft tones of the stone. Second, through its historical and cultural narrative, where each piece tells a story millions of years old, from Jurassic seas to iconic buildings.
By combining technology with tradition, ceramics replicate the aged surfaces of JURA, providing durability and easy maintenance, ideal qualities for modern spaces that demand both elegance and functionality.
